Ive been doing these for quite a while. I can say it truly helped build my delts more than any other exercise. Side laterals are good, and I incorporate them after ive fatigued on this exercise, and use light weight for high reps. Best way to round those delts. Just 2 basic exercises and go hard. Keep up the good work jay ❤

I always passed on this one... i find this exercise strenuous on my lower back. It's even worse sitting without back support and doing it. I just stick with shoulder press via machine or with back support and dumbbells in my hands like everyone else. If i needed core strength, i stick with safer options like ab workouts, pull ups push ups etc.

Edt: Before i ever get attacked for this, i respect anyone who is comfortable with doing this, requires a strong will and back control with a good leg stance for stability. ❤

Lifting advice from an absolute legend! I usually do shoulder press with dumbbells but I am now going to incorporate barbell shoulder press in my workout now!
