What’s Worse? Getting Pepper Sprayed or Tazed?

Yeah I am the same way. Taser hurts more, but at least it's only for seconds.

While pepper spray might hurt "less", it hurts bad enough that I have seen grown men cry, and I have heard stories about people running into trees.

The problem with pepper spray is that the pain stays with you, especially when people don't decon properly. I have seen people screw up their decon so bad, they end up with eye infection too.

With proper decon, it can at least be over enough within an hour. At least until it gets activated again when you get home and shower. I have also heard of people burning their own junk too when they accidentally contaminate their own peepee.

And yes I am going to be one of those "back in my day" guys, but back in my day, they didn't just spray near your eyes, but they also sprayed it in our mouth too. I am glad I never have to go through that again.

Pepper spray also gets all over your clothes an you have to wash it by itself a few times to get it out.

As someone who scratched their corneia (the part of your eye that responds to light), I would also much rather be tased. Having your eyes hurt for any length of time is hell.

I have been hit with OC spray Three times when I was in the army. I totally agree with you bro. A friend of mine hit me with a taser one time because I wanted to see what it felt like and I would much rather take the tazer again

Hello, I agree. I'm currently in the academy and I was oc yesterday. It's the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. The level of pain is extremely powerful.

Pepper spray because a hidden heart condition can kill you if you've been tazed! It does hurt though...I did it to myself once...my nose hairs burned for days!

I've felt pepper spray, not directly to the face, but I have fibromyalgia and extreme cramping problems already. Those 5 seconds could really suck for me and leave me hurting for a week

Depends, I been tased, then they kept tasing me over and over again. All while being jumped by 6-8 guys… but hey, good ol high school days lol . Definitely would have rather took pepper spray that day

When I was 8 I was at my friends house and her cousin was babysitting us. She had pepper spray on her keys and I accidentally sprayed myself in the face. I sat in a freezing cold shower for 2 hours not knowing it would reactivate it. Not to mention if you get it on your arms or anything it BURNS there too. So yeah!!! It was a great experience 👍👍👍

Im taking law classes and officers have said that they preffer being tased than a pepper spray because you can feel it for the day
