I think knowing your hair type is important, mine is similar to hers so I could do slightly heavier oils but if you have finer hair heavy oils would weigh it down. Also brush/comb hair before oiling not after, it can unnecessarily pull out more hair than usual. Hope this helps, I’ve been learning more about taking care of my hair

My mom said she could trim my hair which is curly so it looks like kinda short but it’s accually long and I haven’t gotten a trim in 2 years so my ends were really dead up to the point where I had to cut like about an inch or half and now my curls shrink a lot so I have really short hair which I hate (I’ve been growing out my hair since I was little but then my aunt basically gave me a buzz cut so I hated having short hair and as I grew up I made sure to never have short hair…)

Dont do this. Hair oiling is so good but leaving more that 4 hours will actually prevent hair growth

Bestie, you should NOT leave the oiling on your It leads to the buildup of a an oily, dead skin, bacteria, and dirt environment on your scalp and most importantly AT YOUR HAIR FOLLICULE, causing inflammation, and the loss of that hair, you do not get extra benefits leaving it for that long, you get the opposite ! I would understand leaving it on the hair length/ends, but scalp and roots NEVER
