I have decided to remove my journey to waist length series from Youtube due to the fact that the videos are so old and of very poor production value. So this video should sum up that series for you!
Time to make a new Hair Journey Series!

Girl, listen. I went through EXACTLY the same thing as you. Tried every single thing you did to get my hair back (it used to be super pretty and it suddenly got just as troublesome as yours for literally no reason). None of them worked. The only thing that finally worked was seeing a TRICHOLOGIST! A trichologist is a hair specialist, like a hair doctor. They’re not hairdressers (who know nothing about hair quality, just aesthetics). They’re like dermatologists, but they focus on hair and making sure it grows well from the roots going down. They give you specialized products, look at your hair every couple weeks to see how it’s going, massage your hair, give it red light treatments and stuff like that, all based on science. I HIGHLY recommend you go see a trichologist. They’re pretty much the only professionals who actually know about hair, because most people just focus on short term aesthetics instead of the health of the follicules. I swear my hair was just like yours and even though it still isn’t perfect, it is SO SO much better than it used to be. I really know how frustrating it is to try everything and still not get the results you want when so many people don’t even do anything and have gorgeous hair anyway. I used to cry out of frustration and now I don’t even think about it much. I really hope you see this! Sending you lots of love

Girl, the photo of your "dream hair" the girl has extensions.

I feel like extensions make for unrealistic hair expectations! I can't tell you how often I have seen someone with amazingly long and thick hair and every single one of them have extensions. Great video! Thanks for being so vulnerable! I have cried over hair more times than I would like to admit.

Girl you can't run away from your natural hair texture

I hated my frizzy hair for years only to discover I was a “curly-wavy girl”. Made me accept the frizz and worked with it. Frizz = Curls/Waves! Stop dreaming about the hair that you are not born with, you will end up frustrated and hate your hair even more. Instead try to accept that you have textured hair. :)

Hard water has this effect on my hair.
I notice if I'm staying in a soft water area my hair is completely different, softer, shinier and more manageable.
A neutral henna paste applied to the hair adds shine that lasts and is a great conditioner.
I really enjoyed watching your video! Great work! *

Not silly to cry, I’ve cried over my hair too many times to count. 😔 I can totally relate to the frustration of hair growth.

I relate to so much of this. It's sound so fickle to be so heartbroken about hair but when you've tried so much and put so much love it's hard not to let it get to you - it's comforting knowing so many others have felt the same and are on this journey together (esp when we're surrounded by family and friends with BEAUTIFULLLY blessed hair) 😆❤

watching this video really made me realize how I take my own hair for granted, I have long thick hair that grows really fast just over the course of a couple months and my hair is just naturally oily too. I never really though about how much effort people put into trying to make their hair look like that and how lucky I am. I would always complain about how my hair would be really tangled because of how thick it is or how frizzy it would be because it was thick, when after learning how to just come and straighten my hair I don't complain about it anymore because my hair is just the way it is and I like it.
