Cady (Lindsay Lohan), Regina George (Rachel McAdams), the Plastics and the rest of the girls from the school are in the gym doing trust falls and apologizing for everything they have done and said.

What’s the movie Mean Girls about?
Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) thinks she knows about "survival of the fittest." But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 15-year-old enters public high school for the first time and falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.
Invited to hang out with the most exclusive clique of the school “The Plastics”, she will fall in love with the leader’s Regina George (Rachel McAdams) ex boyfriend Aaron Samuels. Engaging in a tricky double dealing, Cady will progressively become like the rest of the group and lose herself in the process.

In the beginning of the movie, we see Regina carried on the shoulders of jocks while Janice is off to the side - comfortable, but to the side nonetheless. This scene runs in the full circle, with Janice being carried away in her glorious victory while Regina runs away, frozen out and alone.
