I love how once Anakin does the deed everything suddenly goes perfectly for him

I think the council’s mistake was making Anakin a spy when they knew he was close with him. If things got shaky Anakin could easily tip off Palpatine that they’re trying to replace him therefore setting off order 66. (Even though it was already pretty close to happening with Dooku and Grievous dead) if the Council were smart they would quietly try to find a replacement for Palpatine without telling everyone’s mom and their droid

So in this timeline Luke and Leia would surely not named like it. Indeed, Anakin will be able to named his children with Padme. Luke would be surely named Qui-Gon in honour of Qui-Gon Jin, while Leia name would stays as Leia I think

We need Star Wars "What if..." and it shows Anakin stays good. Then make it a twist where the Jedi don't keep him on the council because Padme's pregnant, etc, and it shows there's no stopping his decent to the Dark Side.
