Wow this is the first ever time I have watched anything mechanical for a car. Excellent video. You make it look so step by step straightforward. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic video. Doing this job in the next couple of days. We thought we might have to drop the tank. You saved me HOURS of work and cussing.

By far the best videos, everything important like retainer clips is covered in complete detail...

Worked like a charm. I was actually draining the tank of my recently written off Yaris. Some young'un when into the back of me just after I had put a full tank in! Thats at £1.80 per litre! Couldn't let that liquid gold go, so thank you for the vid really helped out.

Very good video. You made it easy to understand, and gave the viewer answer to questions what we Wer looking at and had no idea what it is. Nice job.

Excellent video, really appreciate it... Pretty sure my 2008 Yaris (225900 mi) needs a new fuel pump because the acceleration is starting to go bad even though I've done maintenance. This will make it an inexpensive job. Car is for work.

Please be aware that both times you refer to the "fuse", its in fact a relay!
Although the most important to retain is that if the fuel relay is bad/faulty. There's a perfect temporary replacement, just laying beside it. The relay for the horn!

Giving the option of being stuck on the side of the road. Or drive without a horn in an emergency. The choice is clear! ;-) Cheers

Clear, good format using text and arrows etc. It should be a template for all this type of video. Thanks.

Dobry materiał, pokazuje dokładnie i wyraźnie montaż i demontaż. Od siebie dodam jedynie, że metalową pokrywę zakrywającą dostęp do pompy należy dobrze uszczelnić nowym silikonem bo inaczej w kabinie będzie dość dotkliwie czuć benzynę.

I Enjoyed this one very informative just to see how you released all those fixings!I dont know about you but I always cringe when I have to try and release those fiddly plastic clips. If they break you, d probably end up buying a complete hose LOL.Thank you for sharing.

good video, but many people can not buy a whole fuel pump. If you can make a video about how to change some parts ( fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or orings, it will be awsome.

Great video bud, but one quick note. The black things in the fuse box are relays not fuses. You can hear them clicking when you turn the ignition on and can be a point of failure stopping the fuel pump from working.

Hi good video there are at least two models of pump for this car and not interchangeable with different diameters also pumps are polarity conscious and will not pump fuel out if not connected right I have had a case of the pump being reverse wired and causing much head scratching also the actual pump unit is not swappable from the smaller diameter pump to the larger, hope this helps someone as it had m, e baffled for a bit..

Should the pump have continuity between the leads and the pump housing ?

Great video. Think I can manage this myself. Did you replace it with a used spare or did you manage to find a new one from somewhere? If so, do you mind sharing where you got yours from please? Apparently it's a common fault for a mk1 to show the wrong level over time and I'd rather not replace bad for worse.
