My grandma was driving my grandpas old truck when one day it sputtered and died with quarter of a tank of gas and wouldn’t start. It sat there for 8 years in the driveway because she didn’t have the money to get it fixed. I decided to take the truck as a project, replaced the 10 year old battery, and sure enough it wouldn’t start. I bought a fuel pump for $100 and went to work dropping the tank. Only to realize the tank was bone dry. I filled up the tank and she coughed a little bit then bam. Started right back up. And that’s a story on how my grandpas truck sat dormant for 8 years because it ran out of gas. Don’t always trust your gauges especially on older vehicles.

I have so much to thank you, you helped me so much with my car I have a 2 year new mustang then yours mines a 2000 but I spun out and crashed not much damage but it wouldn’t start then I saw this video where that button was in the truck and I thought I destroyed my car and it was just that button so I’m so thankful too you 😭😭

so I replaced my fuel pump on my mustang yesterday but it still takes about 6 seconds to cranks. any suggestions?
