When I was younger I was always "scanning" the road and sometimes cutting conversation just to check the situation. Now I'm staring at front of my car just on highway when it's emptier

You must know what's surround at least 7 second in all director or check every 15 second. Left, right, back, and in front. Never drive along semi-truck; either pass them or 3 cars behind. And check to see if you can see them through their mirror.

In the UK you've had to pass this kind of test since the 80's in order to get your license.

I never understand who the people are that's being studied to provide statistics for most things. I truly and deeply believed in my heart and soul that if there was a list of things that can be considered common sense, this would be very close to the top. But then again, there has been times i was riding with someone else driving and they just pull out in front of oncoming vehicles that I have no idea how they didn't see coming.
