Don't tailgate, put your telephone down and pay attention and you'll be fine. Your average truck on the highway is loaded Weighting anywhere between 70 to 80, 000 pounds. Cars are only weighing in at 1 too 4000 pounds. No matter how big and tough you think your car is it will lose when involved in a collision with a big truck.

It is your fault if you submarine under a truck from behind. (Ooh baby) You should maintain a safe dustance when behind any vehicle. And if you can't out brake a semi truck-time to get a new vehicle-These stupid/non commercial deemed SUVS should never have been allowed on the road. You can blame some unnamed president for that. (Look it up) A fully loaded truck can jam on its bresks for no reason on the highway and it is the driver behind's fault for the accident. Europe always does it better
