I've been doing large epa dha with mct whole eggs phosphadtyl serine for several months now. Cant tell you whats doing the trick but my brain is working so much better now. Much better capacity to brush off temptation and complete tasks, even when i get off keto.

You forgot sea salmon that is one of the best sources and is like super food to the brain. Here in Finland where good quality fresh sea salmon is available it is one of the best source for sure. I eat about twice a week salmon in some form (some times even more often). I also take two capsules of fish oil every day and i eat plenty of eggs to get enough omega 3 every day. And of course those are also keto super food as well 😊.

Been hitting the nordic naturals cod liver oil the last 2 months, and have been feeling a million bucks. Got off my 10 year weed addiction with ease using fish oil. Hard to feel bad on it.

The problem I've had with Nordic Naturals is I got two bottles in a row where the capsules were all coated with a sticky film of oil. This is very unpleasant, and makes the capsules bond together into a single mass that is hard to get out of the bottle. Once their in your hand, your hand is now coated with the oil that's been exposed to oxygen (since it's not in a capsule) for a long time, and smells rancid. Once the bottle is empty, it's not empty - there's a gummy pool at the bottom. I've tried the brand twice (with purchases spaced a year apart in case they had a problem with a particular production lot), and I'm not doing it again until I hear they've gotten their production line in order.

Thank you for another very informative video! 😀

I take 1 tsp of cod liver oil daily. Happens to be the Nordic Naturals that you mentioned. I checked into another fish oil, which is from salmon liver, called Dutch Omegas. Pricey for my budget so didn't switch to that. I didn't check the DHA amount at that time, but another brand to check out if anyone's interested.

Thank you for video. First research on DHA was done in USSR in 80's. You get a wide spectrum of benefits, not only cognition improvements. It makes sense to dig a bit more on DHA.

I started taking Nordic Naturals Pro Omega CRP. I never thought to put it in the fridge. Thanks for the tip!

In Canada, maybe elsewhere we have this super cheap fish oil that comes with a variety of flavours, algae and plant versions for $20/200mL and it has 750mg epa and 500mg dha per teaspoon (5mL). Nature's Way Nutrasea brand.

I eat DHA and EPA daily from algae oil. Much easier, better stability. No chance of any heavy metals or micro plastics from them. Much better taste. Almost completely neutral even in a free form. But for travel, capsules are better...

Thanks for this vid. Really helpful. You mentioned a possibly optimal combo maybe taking 2-3 capsules of 1000mg of EPA and 500mg of DHA. The study you speak about here shows 1160mg of DHA and 170 mg of EPA per day. Any particular reason you suggest having 2-3 g of EPA daily when you also say that there could be some overdosing here as well?

Do you think someone could reach that amount of everyday they ate pasture raised eggs, grass fed beef raw dairy and some kind of fish like mackerel, sardines or salmon without supplementing?
