Let’s talk about the top-selling multivitamin in the world. They use mostly elemental minerals in this multivitamin, which don’t absorb well in the body, are very inexpensive, and are not sourced from plants.

Synthetic vitamins are also not the same form as the vitamin or mineral that comes from nature, and they won’t absorb well in the body.

What’s really in the top-selling multivitamin in the world:
• Calcium carbonate (not very bioavailable)
• Magnesium oxide (not a good form for absorption)
• Ascorbic acid (synthetic)
• Dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate (synthetic)
• Cyanocobalamin (synthetic)
• Thiamine mononitrate (synthetic)
• Zinc oxide (most insoluble form)

Other ingredients in the top-selling multivitamin in the world:
• Corn starch
• Modified corn starch
• Maltodextrin
• BHT (a preservative)
• Polyethylene glycol
• Titanium oxide (whitener—used in varnish, paint, and plastic, and is considered a possible carcinogen by the IARC and not safe in food sources by the EFSA)
• Red 2 lake/ Red 40 / Yellow 6 lake

In my opinion, this multivitamin product is not even a true multivitamin. It’s some artificial thing that resembles a multivitamin.

My products contain vitamins and minerals that come from actual food sources like broccoli, tomatoes, and shiitake mushrooms. Synthetic is very different than a vitamin from a food source. Vitamins from nature come in complexes and have no chemical residues.

When you buy a vitamin, read the label, including the ingredients. If you can’t pronounce the words on the ingredient list, then it’s probably synthetic.

Thanks for watching! Read the labels on the vitamin products you buy. Even the top-selling multivitamin in the world isn't actually the best for you.

Male 68 yrs old. I was suffering horribly with callouses on the bottom of my feet. Went to a podiatrist and they shaved them off with a scalpel. Worked great but 3 wees later the callouses were back. Was I going to have to go back to the podiatrist every month. Then I watched the Dr. Berg video on the liver foot connection. In that video Dr. Berg said the callouses on the bottom of the feet are a vitamin B3 deficiency. I bought some 1000 mg vitamin B3 capsules. A miracle! Within 3 days the callouses started to disappear and within 3 weeks they were gone! Thank you Dr. Berg

Thank you Dr Berg. I don’t understand why so few ‘health practitioners’ are even aware of the difference between synthetics & plant sourced, let alone organic plant sourced. Great to see this info getting a voice. 👍

When I have any health questions, I come to your channel first. It's the best and you explain things so clearly that anyone can understand. Thank you.

This is an eye opener! “Read the label” should be changed to “Learn what is in this product by studying it’s origin before buying/consuming.”

Dr. Berg,

I have been listening to you for many years. I have Hashimoto’s and have been overweight for 9 years. Mostly because I didn’t put my health first, busy mom 3 kids, work full time, Hashimoto’s making me feel so dragged down after 2 pm.

Anyway, the last year I have bucked down, not full keto yet, intermittent fasting after lunch (12:30), breakfast at 7:30 am.

I do hiit exercise and hand weights (since the covid lockdown). I have lost 40 pounds in about a 14 months. I am on a slower losing weight plan since I am not full keto. Still going strong but want to go to the gym to add muscle, since they are a bit atrophied. I am 56 years old.

Thank you for all of your solid advice, I have purchased the juicing powder with stevia and I love it! Thank you for leading me sown a healthier path!
Liz

It's One-A-Day. I used to take and after continuous use, I felt really awful. Racing heart, dizziness, etc. I literally threw out a bottle with capsules still inside because of the side effects. I now take Rainbow Light and it's awesome!

This is embarrassing but I didn’t know synthetic meant artificial until you said so, thanks. Now I understand

When I was working in the oil industry, we used magnesium oxide for water reuse. The oxide turns into hydroxide after flowing through a hot lime softener at 100 degrees Celsius. It takes roughly 8 hours to become Mag hydroxide to remove silica from the water. I’d imagine it’s as inefficient in the body as well.

"if you can't pronounce it, it's probably synthetic" how's that for summing it up? Once again, brilliant content!

You informed me about synthetic vitamins before, I threw those away that I had. Thank you, cause I never knew anything about vitamins being synthetic. 👍

I've been taking Double-X for years; the three pills consist of a multi-vitamin, minerals, and phytonutrients (plant concentrates); the ingredients are sourced from the farms owned by the company who manufactures them and not from some third party. Love your channel!

That is not a vitamin and mineral tablet. That is an antacid with pretty colours and lipstick

So, what we should really do is to grind up the multivitamins and mix them with the soil so the plants can utilize those elemental minerals and produce healthy minerals that we can eat?

decades ago, i read (can't remember where now) that port-a-potty businesses would find TOTALLY undissolved vitamins in their filter screens, to the point where they could actually still read the name of the brand on them.
