my daughter got strep at 11 years old. but we didn't find out until it had turned into scarlet fever, with strawberry tongue. ( all her taste buds were standing up). yes strep is nothing to mess with. xoxo glad yall are feeling better. Blessings

Welcome back. Sooo....don't feel bad about all the Chip comments. Even the best pet parents have their moments. Our Candy girl is getting her ear stitched up as I type this because our other dog, Beaux, got into it with her this morning in the back yard and ripped a 4 inch gash down the length. Fortunately he didn't sever anything vital. Both are great pups and non aggressive, except to each other when they get rambunctious. Dogs will be dogs. Chip is a good pup.
I like the idea of using those cages as tractors. If you wanted you could mount all thread to each side or end of the cages and mount lawn mower wheels to make them easy to drag around. It would also raise the cages a few inches to keep the grass height a bit higher and healthy. Simply rotate the cages where you want "mowed" and feed up the fryers. That goes for chickens when you get there as well.
The place looks amazing. On our trip back we saw a few patches of bluebonnets cropping up and we went out to San Felipe de Austin yesterday for some pics in the wildflowers there. They are popping early this year so we should see prime time in the next two to three weeks. Make sure to take some time and scout the area for good fields full of flowers. Maybe we can come out and get some pics as well.

We loved dew berries as kids, growing up in Mississippi! We made jam one year after picking many buckets of them. ~Drew

YUMMM to the dewberries! Is that what wild blackberries are called? We have them all over our property too! Also, really interested in oils and neurodevelopment in kiddos with ASD, I actually work in the disability field, so I will have to watch the replay since I have class tonight.

You can always do lettuce very quickly for the spring and summer. I buy from MIGardener, get his $1 lettuce seeds and his trifecta+, if he’s got it, and maybe compost from the store if you have it, plus rabbit poop, find a somewhat shaded spot and just spread the compost, the trifecta and poop, and then scatter the lettuce seeds. They pop up very quickly.

You can pour gasoline on a fire ant mound and kill can also take a shovelfull of anthill and put it on another one and they will fight to the death!

I love those berries. So delicious. Your bunnies are so cute. You guys are happy out there. You have a pretty long growing season, so you can still put in a garden. Looking good.

You are so lucky to have those wild dewberries and blackberries on your property ! We actually had a couple of those bushes in our backyard and San Antonio and I remember when I was growing up going out and picking them and eating them as a kid.
Don't worry about Chip and how you come across with him, Beau. Anyone who has watched your YouTube channel for any length of time knows that you like to ham it up when the kids are the dog are around. Chip is just like any other kid and he would be about equal to what Ollie's age is now, so treat him accordingly. From what I have been able to see through your videos Chip is a fairly well-behaved puppy for his age group. So whoever the hater was that said that he was a rotten dog in to just get rid of him, tell that person to go fly a kite.
