Samsung TV here, I had to unplug my TV, plug back in then power on and everything worked fine. Thought it was a hdmi port issue

I turned off everything, disconnected the hdmi cable and swapped it from ps5 to tv, it worked like a charm thanks again subbed

Thanks a lot. My problem was actually my sound bar for some reasons. I unplugged everything. I tried with one of my screen and the ps5's sound was fine. I plugged everything back on my TV + Sound bar and everything's working now.

The main console makes all its noise on main menu as normal but when I stick in a BluRay it won’t play main feature sound. It played the bloody film production ident jingle start of disc that can the skipped but won’t play main feature. It’s like it won’t swap something itself. Like it forgot to do something.

Didn't work for me but I did find the problem with your help.

I followed all of your instructions and verified all of my boxes were checked but still nothing worked.

My headset worked fine every time I pluged it in via a USB wireless adapter (Rigg 700 Headset), and when I unplugged it, still no audio coming from the TV whatsoever.

I did get it to work eventually by cycling my Audio Format from Linear PCM (Priority) to the other formats and prioritizing them with no change.
As soon as I switched back to Linear PCM (Priority) it started working instantly 😮.

No idea what happened or why the audio stopped working to begin with and then started working again.

Any thoughts?

Just bought a steel series headset for ps5...when it connects it takes the audio of the tv out and into the mic. Just had to go into settings and switch audio output it worked

I experienced the issue where as soon as I unplug the bluetooth adapter for my wireless HS from the ps5 there is suddenly no sound coming from the TV. My issue is that my PS5 won't play dvd or Blu-ray DD/DTS sound. It will play Dolby Pro Logic which i don't want. It will play DD/DTS sound but it won't play the voice audio (center channel). Dolby Digital works perfect on the menu, Games and streaming services like Netflix, Prime, Hulu etc. But not for DVD/Blu-ray. I've tried every setting. My PS4 plays DD/DTS perfectly with dvd/Blu-ray but not the POS5.
