How to FIX No Sound with PS5 Controller on PC (Fix No AUDIO Fast!)

Do you want to know how to Fix no sound or audio on your PC with your Playstation 5 controller? The dual sense controller works on PC, however, you may have noticed when you plug your PS5 controller in, the audio with cut out and switch to a different output. To switch the speaker output back to default in the bottom right side of the screen go to the speaker and left click and then select your audio output on your PC. This happens because the PS5 controller has a speaker on it and your PC trys to switch over the audio output to your PS5 controller. This will happen in games like fortnite, warzone, apex legends, minecraft etc...

The real, long lasting fix, is to disable the PS5 controller from being a speaker so the issue never happens again. Open sound settings>manage devices>Disable - speakers (Wireless Controller).

when i plug in my PS5 controller it says Speakers (4-Wireless Controller) and it lets me hear audio when i change the volume on the bottom right of the screen but when i try to play apex legends theres no audio

I actually wanted the other way around though, Since I've never used my DualSense on a PS5 before, is DS internal speaker can be actually used on PC or it's just my DS' internal speaker is broken, I can still connect my earphone through it and the sound is there (sound's better than when my headphone is connected directly to my PC jack). I thought it supposedly uses it's internal speaker when there is no headphone plugged in.

my issue is worse. when i plug in the ps5 controller to my pc it rapidly switches back and forth between the controller speaker and my headphones and i can't switch to my headphones because the controller speaker audio is constantly turning off and on.

please help because i currently can't charge my duelsense controller because of this issue.

Thank you! I was clicking back and forth for a while trying to figure out how to fix this sound issue and driving myself insane, and this whole time it was a simple 'click on the speaker icon and change output.' I feel so silly for not having checked that first. Hero
