Thank you for contributing to inflation and enabling dealers to get away with price gouging.

You should leave it at the dealership overnight and let them start it in the morning

Jump the danger Ranger over the Gen 3 Raptor!

Probably an exhaust leak from the looks of it. Goes away after it’s warmed up due to heat expansion on the exhaust.

Looks like a small exhaust leak on the crossover pipe seeing as there's water right below it and a small amount of exhaust coming out.

*The dealership recognize the backlash from upcharging pipsburgg views and were willing to take a hit to avoid the public eye especially with Mike's reach*

Sold my 2018 Gen 2 lead foot Raptor fully loaded with 25, 200 miles back in July for $63, 000. Dealership tried to sell it for $78k. Well now in February 2022, its still sitting on their lot for $64, 998 and they can't sell it. With the price of fuel going up, I see this trend continuing. $150 per fill up with current gas prices lmao.

We bought a new 2021 Base Explorer on March 12 2021 for $29, 999. Last week we were offered $35, 000 for it if we trade it in. It has 24k miles.

I’m in the market for an F450. Stopped by the local dealership because they had an “F450 in stock” sign. It was a 2019 King Ranch. 38k miles. They wanted 90k. Guy said it with a straight face and everything.

New Raptor breaks after 100 miles, Danger Ranger starts right away and works like a clock and is 20-30 years older. And it's been man handled like crazy.

I'm 30 miles east of Pittsburgh Mike and I got my gen 3 in September for sticker. I wouldn't have even paid that had the dealership not given me almost $4500 OVER what I paid for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma. There are some good dealerships out there. You just have to be patient.

It's funny how a trx can jump so many more times and take a beating without any issues. Must be a Ford thing.

I found your channel when I searched for how fast you can reverse😂 It’s funny that no one made videos the older Mercedes’ cdi. I was a taxi driver and drove a Mercedes E290 cdi(1995 I think), it was automatic with a summer/winter selector. When you reverse in winter mode, it does it in a second gear. I reversed that car more than 60 mph, it was so funny.
Would love to see you find a car like that.

Jumping the truck with video evidence, I’m sure Ford will help you out 🤣🤣🤣

Because the sound goes away once it's warm heat expansion is a factor. I would look at exhaust heat shields first. Ideally it would be nice to let the truck sit and diag it in the morning cold start but that didn't
seem to be an option this time.

To diagnose sound like that you can try this. When it makes the noise in your driveway. Rev the engine and see if the noise gets faster or changes. Also have someone outside the truck and put it in gear in the driveway or reverse and see if the noise is transmission related. Try creeping back and forth in your driveway also.

Low blinker fluid would cause a grind like that on a cold start

Mike that’s definitely when you jumped the truck about 30 feet in the air. Of course something is gonna break. 🤦‍♂️

It’s the cam phaser. I had the same issue on 2018 3.5, just got them phasers replaced last week already. It only does it on cold starts, then it goes away after it warms up. I didn’t think the 21’s had this issue still.
