How to Solder and Desolder

i video of how to properly solder and desolder things. I have a previous video in which i misinformed so this video is to correct my mistakes.

if you can maintain a tip, you can solder! main thing Ive found is to presolder everything and use the fact that solder sticks to itself with easy heat.... love the fact that you mention the mesh. no one uses that D:

it is also a big help to use flux before tinning or soldering joints. Pretty much a must when soldering. The solder flows so much more effectively. FYI

how do I desolder 10 gauge wire with a lot of solder on it as I cannot get it hot enough to suck up? It stays hard no matter how long I hold the iron to the solder plus I don't want to damage what I am desoldering

i only recently bought a desoldering pump and before that, i used stranded copper wire for desoldering. im cheap. xD

Dude stop playing up with the solder with your iron, you will be burning away the flux in the wire resulting on these spikes on the solder joints

I have alot of copper will copper work to desolder the composition like im trying take out only a mosfet transistor on my dc power soon.because its shortened.and i have to replaced the mosfet from the other power supplys
