I only have the Marshall mini amp, I think it sounds decent for the price and for practicing in the bedroom, but I also love the sound of the Fender mini amp here, both are definitely wonderful amps. ❤

I bought recently the Mooer Hornet 05i Digital amp. It was the first digital amp for me and I was honestly surprised by the quality of the amps..there are Fender, Marshall and more simulations which are quite accurate..so one could also consider to spend a little bit more and have a versatile solution to study at home ;)

The Fender is definitely better. It's subtler. Surprisingly good really. The Marshall sounds cold.

every guitar i see you play looks so beautiful lol. I have the fender amp and I also have a donner amp from my first ever guitar i got off amazon, but the donner amp's clean tones sounds more sparkly to me. Im not too sure though because Im still a beginner player just starting out

I have the same Marshal amp i got it so i could practice playing electric in my yard, it broke after a week and ive never got it working again 😢😢

I like the Fender better. The Marshall sounds a bit distorted, and a bit too metal for this song.

Myths are hard to put down
The Marshall sounds much better here for that chord melody Benson style.
The mid forward Marshall focus allows to show the melody, and the triads/chords just jump out
The Fender is better suited for comping, with more hi fi and balanced tone, where the notes in the chords are melted together.
It's not the first time a hear a Marshall clean very good for that kind of playing.
Which may annoy some that listen to guitar forums and not their ears..
I've been playing for 35 years, and what I learn every day that it's your ears and work that define your sound, not what people on forums and videos tell you.
This guitarist is exceptionally good, and never tells you what to decide, he just let's you hear for yourself.
I've noticed that guys that write dozens of pages on guitar forums telling what to do, ... Well, when you hear them playing.. They 'd better spend a bit more time on the guitar than forums and GAS 😉
