Dream UV is a free add-on you can get from it's creator Bram Eulaer's Github page. It allows you to add textures to objects without having to labor over UV maps at all. It uses something called a "texture atlas". Floaters 2 footage by Karl Poyzer.

If you facing some issue about transparency, uncheck "Use Alpha" to open the texture atlas.

Can you do this with a wood texture and texture wood furniture such as wooden chairs with odd angles.

I have Dream UV installed but it doesn't pop up in my option panel. Edit: Got it, the option only shows up in Edit mode.
