Texture Ripper is part of the free app Shoebox, from the creator of the popular Tex Tools add-on for Blender. It works separately from Blender. It's very useful if you want to get flat, perspective-free textures from photographs.

Thanks, although adobe AIR is already discontinued a long time ago, it's kind sad that this software stuck on that API... I wish the creator port it to a better language. Although since I got Photoshop using perfective tool pretty much the same thing I can achieve

I used a very similar software somewhere in 2011 or so, was useful thing, looks like the developer is the same, will try it!

You can also do this with UV mapping a plane, move the 4 UV points to the portion of the image you want, then render emission through an orthographic camera.

Adobe Air is paussed due to 'legal issues' and earlier versions are not available. They consider it will take some weeks but I guess personally It can also be months if its legal ! what now.

doesnt work, saus Shoe app is corrupted and to contact the owner for a working install. I downloaded it twice, its a valid download, but for some bloody reason this Air thing doesnt like it.
