The solutions to this issue were too long to include in this video so I created Part 2 where I go over the full training strategy to transform for Skinny Fat South Asians!
In part 3 onwards I will cover more diet, workouts and lifestyle strategies in depth.

As a South Asian man who was born in India and immigrated to America at the age of 28, I found a lot of physical differences between me and my local gym bros. Although I had equivalent strength when it comes to powerlifting style compound-movement workouts (i.e. back squats, Bulgarian split squats, military press, bench press & deadlifts), my arms were too skinny and I had love handles. I realized shortly thereafter that the entirety of my (our) problems comes from our diet i.e. high processed carbs, veggies & low animal protein. I switched to a carnivore diet, eating only ruminant meat grass fed beef, lamb and goat meat, fatty cuts of meat like stripling and ribeye steaks, some chicken legs & thighs, lots of milk, cheese, yogurt, cut out sugar & carbs completely and stopped cooking in rancid seed oils like canola, sunflower, soybean oil etc and I cook exclusively in ghee and beef tallow. The results are insane. I do add some fruits to my carnivore diet. My testosterone levels skyrocketed, I lost almost all of my adipose tissue visceral & subcutaneous fat, got visible abs, put on muscle mass quickly, all my allergies are gone including seasonal allergies, my facial skin improved 10X and I sleep a lot better too. Summary: eat lots of red meat i.e. grass fed beef, lamb, remove sugar & artificial sweeteners completely, remove all processed carbs, junk food (I do eat the occasional rice) and focus on eating ONLY animal protein. That's all our bodies need.

One thing that can get rid of abdominal fat is cutting out added sugar. I did a year with a lot of added sugar, then a year without and the change was very drastic.

Please keep making videos! This is super helpful. Could you maybe cover how this differs for women vs men too?

I've lived in SE Asia for over 20 years (originally from Canada.) I've always wondered about this topic but have never thought to look it up. Very enlightening video.

I have been struggling with the proper diet and exercise programs for my Skinny Fat body. YouTube's algorithm brought me here. Thanks to YouTube and to you. I feel inspired to start a new journey to a healthier body.

This is interesting. I'm half indian, half european. I've had visible abs for most of my life, but even despite that, I did notice the love handles almost never go away. Luckily it's not at a level where it really bothers me, but it's interesting to know why they're there

They all say Build muscle don't do cardio. South Asians Need cardio post lifting. I believe 20-30 minutes run a day 5 days a week. Brings huge difference to increase metabolism.

This is BS. It's a down to a sedantary lifestyle + a diet rich in carbs and fat with very little protein. He's just trying to sell a course

There is no genetic issue, just laziness issue. I see kids as small as 5 year-old (white/black/anything really) play soccer since they were small and they grow up to have athletic bodies. I myself can see the veins in my hands and when I used to play and "exhaust myself" with them and take fasts sometimes I saw my belly get lower than my chest.

You can't just get a muscular body in a month, many people say 1-2 years is a realistic amount.

Really we don't emphasize playing sport in childhood because we don't want our child to be poor so our child may be fat but at least it is not poor.
