*To live the American dream, you have to have 2 people working, which in turn gives you no time to raise your kids. It's a catch 22 with the horrible job the past generations did on keeping the economy up to par with costs of living. Our generation earns less than people living in the 1970s when you factor in cost of living. The cost of living has gone way up but the percentage people pay to live has gone way up as well. It is really hard for people to save enough money to do a vacation once a year, let alone raise a kid or two. Nobody to blame but past generations who didn't keep the economy rolling, no debate, thats a fact*

This is funny seeing as how 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and don't have jobs that give them time off at all for maternity. Especially now that it's nearly impossible to have one person care for the kid while the other works because both parents need to work. Unless you and your partner make more than $20hr each full time, I don't see how anyone can afford to give kids the quality of life they want to. I think this is more of a wage issue. You didn't hear people saying they couldn't afford to have a kid 20 years ago. And being a stay at home mom went from being a standard to a luxury. Our generation has some work to put in. Lol

It's hard to raise a family when you want huge influx of immigrants via open boarders policy's, they lower the standards of living, harder to get a home because of the demand & leave longer waiting lists for not only housing but schools, hospitals, visiting doctors & colleges.

I'd rather keep the extra time and money by not having kids. We need to reduce our birth rate before we completely run out of resources.

Love is Unconditional.    It's NOT about the money.    It's about Family.   My parent's gave me more opportunities that they never had.   In return I have done the same for my children(s).   We don't give up our morals and beliefs (right is right and wrong is wrong).   Never stop Dreaming, Keep thy Faith.     I'll see you on Election Day.
