HAHA!!!! when we thought we couldn't love you any more than we already do!!! So glad you didn't redo the video....loved the voice over and the recipe looks simple and wonderful. Will be trying it.

Oh my gosh, I've done that before! One of my mics has an on/off button that I forget to turn on. The other one (the new one) had a faulty piece they recently replaced. I like that you did a voiceover rather than re-do the whole video. Save!

I made authentic Louisiana style Gumbo today. It took quite a while to make, but tastes so much better than the canned crap.

I'm with you on the simplicity. There's a time to chop and a time to be lazy. The taste, in the end, and the nutrition is awesome. Thanks for your creativity. Maybe you could go out for voice over work... Pretty good!

When i find a recipe that i love and it calls for a lot of spices, i make a big batch of thr spice mix, mix it in a grinder or any blender for a few seconds and then store in a bottle/jar/ziploc. Easy for many recipes.... don't know If it's cheaper than buying the blend, like berbere or garam masala, but I imagine it is.

Thank you for this. I make recipes like this everyweek, but your videos help show my mom how I want her to eat. We both are on your facebook for support!

Congrats for inspiring people live a healthy life.
Making your healthy recipes in a large pot is a great idea, as this allows us to have <ready to serve> healthy food for more days.
It's simple to prepare ourselves with the right tools (e.g. a pot) for a healthy lifestyle, if we have a reference point. So,
Can you share the capacity of the pot you used?

You are just super funny, Dillon. I love your recipes coz it supports my “laziness”. I’d rather be doing other things than slaving away in the kitchen hence i do most of the prepping the day i got my groceries. We got no Costco or anywhere else for prechopped, prepeel veggies. Gotta do everything myself. But this sort of recipe is awesome for me coz i can simply toss in whatever i got in my freezer. Thanks so much
