Thank God for this news. God did not promise to take away my pain and difficulty. He promised to give me the strength to handle this. Yes, it’s about trusting God and relying on Him. I can’t deny all my problems, but I can choose to think positively and keep faith in the Lord. Faith requires me to face the realities of life and not become discouraged by them. I know a man who has been stalking the same woman for almost 23 years. He has been in and out of jail and received multiple restraining orders because of it. To this day he believes that God is going to brung her to him and make her his wife one day. As an older man who has had faith tested and tested time and again. I can’t help but get frustrated with these types of messages, as many many times I have found that you can have deep live long dreams and step out in faith to achieve those dreams only to see time and again huge emotional, physical and mental trials to achieve those dreams only to be totally completely exhausted and broken and giving up. The lesson is God can do anything but he has the ability to say NO! Not for you. You can put your dreams and faith for dreams on the sacrificial alter and trust in God only to watch the dreams be destroyed. But you will never hear a message about God saying NO not for you!
