OMG my guy... I got so scared when my mic wasn't showing up. You saved my LIFE!! You just earned yourself a permanent subscriber. I was crying inside because I thought I broke my mic.

My mic was disabled after a windows update, so was unsure why the mic would just disappear all of a sudden. Turned out that the mic had gotten disabled, so had to re-enable it from control panel/sound options to get it to work. This video was super useful to navigate to that menu, so a big Thank you!

2:44 I got here and found that the device was disabled for some reason. Simply enabling it fixed the issue, thanks! I almost went through hell trying to modify drivers and stuff.

But there's no microphone in the Sound Settings - Recording section on mine.
The list only contains:
Microphone Array, which is turned on, but not working. (Shows/Set as default device)
External Microphone (shows as not plugged in)
Stereo Mix, also not works even if its chosen as microphone device (shows as Ready)
This issue just suddenly happened i dont know the cause😭😭.
