It worked we tried this last Fall. How to Dry up a Wet Field without installing Field Tile. Field Tile versus one-tooth ripper and chain as an alternative. It's cost-effective, fewer nutrients washed away, and so far, has worked very well.

Trying this currently with a chain. Worth a shot before exploring more elaborate tile

What a cool idea. I bought a 5 acre property that get too wet. this may offer some relief. Thanks for the video!

How long after ripping were you able to use this pasture for turnout? I'm considering this strategy for about 15 acres of horse pasture. Awesome videos, btw. Thank you!

does the land have various high and low spots? I have swampy clay land I'd like to dry out. I've considered digging it all up and putting some tons of sand into it.

I love asking dumb questions, how did you attach the chain. Have to believe there is a lot of force pulling on it when underground. Thanks!

Did you weld the chain on the subsoiler or did you open a hole and put a screw on it to hold the chain ?

I wonder if weldind a chain on it and attaching a 2" steel pointing ball will work even better ?

Are you planning to do this every fall?

Cut perpendicular to original cut to decrease velocity of flow.
