I'm not sure if the MSNBC analysts are looking too deep into this, but Walz is the perfect VP running mate because he is a Swiss Army knife, he represents regular people, military people, middle class people like teachers, sports people, family people, senior members of society. He's smart but gritty, caring and empathetic, a father like figure the perfect foil for Kamala's professional background.

I truly thought there was no chance for Tim Waltz, so didn't get my hopes up. Now? I am over the moon that this was her choice! It tells me tons about Kamala -- for sure it makes me like her better. My initial opinion as an outsider looking in. Finally, after so many months, it's nice to hear someone speak of policies and what they can do for the community in a calm and concise manner. No abuse.
