"Whenever you've got an important decision to make, make it on paper." Great advice. Thank you.

When faced with a decision, I try it on first. One day I make a decision to go one way and see how it feels. A few days later, I make a decision to go the other way and see how it feels. By the end of my experiment, I usually know which way to go. So when in doubt, try it one first.

Trust your heart, because your heart receives the energy waves of a particular project and knows if it beats into the same rhythm! Even if the music comes from a written music sheet.

When I was just starting out in business, I would get SO upset when appointments needed to cancel/reschedule, but over time, I came to trust that if that space was clearing on my calendar, it meant that something even better was going to fill that space. And now, that happens almost 100% of the time. So when someone says “I need to cancel/reschedule.” I say “GREAT!” which usually takes them by surprise.

So if you’re first getting started on trusting your gut, pay attention to what happens AFTER you decide. Look for confirmation there and reinforce your choices after the fact. That will train you to make better intuitive decisions in the future.

Lastly, LOVE the advice I once got from Jonathan Fields. He said to write down the worst-case scenario and then strategize about how you would recover from it. When we’ve got a game plan for getting out of the perils we think we’re facing, that pretty much kicks fear in the butt.

I literally just wrote down a pros and cons list yesterday in order to help me make a big decision about my career. I'm so glad I watched this so that I can also consider the worst case scenarios, who my decision will affect and the results I want most. Just what I needed today! Thank you Marie!

Great video thank you! I'm a big believer in going with your gut and praying it will work out.Back yourself right?! Life is all about taking risks and stepping out of our comfort zones. If things don't work out, most of the time things can be rectified and often the "worst case scenario" isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

I always have trouble with my intuition. Sometimes I know what I should do but most of the time I don't. Especially when I need to know what to do.

Thank you for your videos and that process, Marie! I'll use it in the future to help me not get overwhelmed so easily.

About a year ago I was at home for over one year after school, didn't have a job, felt really anxious and depleted and was struggling with insomnia and how I later found out with diet-impacted health-issues. Basically I couldn't even function in normalday life.
I felt it was right to get help and so I booked only one session with the life coach and mentor I felt drawn to, although my intuition told me to do a package over three months. I first didn't choose it because I considered it to be too expensive. But one night when I couldn't sleep again my feelings of what actually would be the right thing for me were nagging on me so much that I got up and wrote my mentor an e-mail to re-book. I committed to the other program and invested almost all my saved money into it. It helped me to immensely improve all areas of my life and looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Lots of love and greetings from Germany,
Jason

I've learned over the years to listen to my inner voice. It doesn't steer you wrong.

Hi Marie, I love your 5 questions. I think a lot of people need to be asking themselves these types of questions in relationships as well!

If you get a feeling that you don't want to do something but you probably are going to do it anyway, there is a reason you don't want to do it. I learned this.

the gut doesnt always scream clearly 'uh uh dont do it' as you said. Thats when its really hard to know what to do. I made two bad choices, i based them on logic and practicality... my gut was a bit weak and i couldnt tell. Now i have another, similar life changing decision to make and its the same problem. K
if my gut tells me, i always pay attention but this is not clear at all. 😣

I think the terms 'gut feelings' or 'intuition' simply describe when you sense something is wrong or right but you cant quite articulate why. So when you get a gut feeling, just probe deeper and figure out why you feel this way. Then once you know what your dealing with you can make an informed descision.
