As the guy going I was like ok you got this. He said 60k ok not that great but you still got this. He said married that muddles things but still doable. Then he said 4 kids. I almost tossed my phone accross the room.

Every time I watch a Dave Ramsey credit card video all I hear is Peter Griffin singing “I have 30 thousand dollars in credit card debt. When they call I tell them I can’t pay it back yet. Tomorrow I might buy a dining room set” and I feel like people actually do this

I have $1887 left on my credit card. Felt discouraged for a long time while it was just over $2, 000. Finally feel motivated to pay it off quicker because, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

They have 4 kids so I’m guessing the wife doesn’t work. She can babysit or something to bring money into the house. I hope they are able to work it all out.

I never had near that amount but I do feel the man's pain. If he's honest with HIMSELF he can get through this. Costly lesson though.

My dad taught me at a young age to not treat credit cards as extra money but as bills that u need to pay off at the end of the month. He instructed me to only use credit card for fuel and pay at the end of the month to build credit.
My sister used her credit cards to pay off her student private loan and i knew not to do that for my student loans.
I paid off my 1900$ student loan before the grace period was over
