Seeing this makes me feel like the guys should do some extensive train travel through Europe…

Love this! Can you do more episodes where you just travel to nearby towns and try their restaurants and shops?

I love how Ben was enjoying the impromptu viking tour. Also love that they got to hear "Spaff!" out of nowhere 200+ miles from home. I think Jamie and Barry's dishes suffered from execution rather than concept. In York, they talked about how balanced the ones they bought were, which probably took practice and experimentation. While Ben got his inspiration from the ingredients and knew how to execute it.

Can we appreciate that this looked to be a 16 hour day that ended in a hot kitchen with a time crunch. Well done boys.

I think a series of "The Sorted Team goes on Holiday" and ever location has a food battle of some sort using local ingredients and maybe even local cooking methods would be amazing

Honestly, you are the only channel I know that does ads so damn well. They don't feel like ads, just another great content to watch and enjoy.

Ben had far too much fun on that day out and I'm so ridiculously happy for him.
And, Chris is so valid, like, if you're in a chip van, and you see Jamie walking around on the edge of your vision, it'd be rude not to hail him down and provide him with a gr8 burger and chips tbh.

When Ben put on the sparkly rainbow outfit, the "Dare to Be Different" song from years ago played in my head again. What a trip down memory lane. 😅

I love this community, because you can have millions of regular family folk who love cooking and eating, and then you also have people like Eric who not only go out of their way to meet with the guys in his hometown, (and give them a laugh and a good show!) but also has extensive knowledge and passion for what the boys are working on.
Awesome stuff, I really love these travel vid's!
A big thanks to all of Sorted, love you guys!

Canadian here weighing in with my personal opinion about Jamie's poutine: He used cheese curds, so it passes the poutine test. There's been a lot of playing with expanding the toppings options from just the traditional curds and gravy, but without cheese curds, it's not right.
(You can put any other variety of toppings on a poutine, but the moment you use shredded cheese, no matter how good the resulting food might be, it's not poutine, it's loaded fries)

He gets a pass for not having gravy, since the beef spread thing was gravy-esque. But just barely.

You can tell they're good friends when Ben says "guess the flavor" and shoves something in his mouth and he just goes along with it and actually tries to guess

There’s something about you boys scouting cities with book bags that is so adorable. Loved the Bailey’s addition to the iced coffee - such a Spaff thing to do.

Just looking at the final products I thought Ebbers would win this one.
However visiting cities, sampling food either in UK or elsewhere and bringing it back to the studio to make some dishes is a winning idea. Please, more of these!.

More. Of. This. Please. That was just fantabulous. I am so jealous of your rail system and am now feeling the urge to travel even more. What a perfect episode.

Loved this episode, but my one critique is that the music was very loud when the crew were speaking, Mike's voice over was fine, but when Barry, Ben, and Jamie were talking to the viking reenactment guy the music was almost drowning them out.

I cannot believe the boys didn’t laugh at Ben’s Shambles joke!!!! I thought that was brilliant!

That roast dinner in a Yorkshire pudding looked awesome…Jolly did a video on them last week (not from York) and they gave them a recommendation as well 👍

please do more stuff like going to other cities and towns and experiencing their food for battles. It's a different and much better vibe than marathons and so much nicer to watch imo

I love how it took Jamie a few seconds to laugh when Ben said 'Sorry, I got distracted by the Ice cream ambulance'
