AD | We thought we’d gone too easy on the normals recently. So this time we’ve teamed up with Picky Wicky to give them a challenge that’s sure to get them thinking… it’s a Korean Fusion Battle!

They’ve each got one can of Picky Wicky’s finest kimchi. They’ve got to use it to cook up something creative, different and downright delicious. How far can they take it? Will their dishes meet the brief? And will it be more fusion or CONfusion? Only Ebbers can decide!

As a Korean myself, this is awesome~ Koreans create all sorts of dishes with kimchi : stew, fried rice, noodle, dumplings, , even pancakes!

One of my preferences in fusion food is that I can still identify the origins of the dish. In Jamie's and Mike's, they retained the spirit of the inspiration. Jamie's especially, seemed a perfect wedding between Korean and Indian elements. The flavors and textures are familiar enough that I can tell just by looking at it that I would thoroughly enjoy it. Mike's looked delicious, but I would have had to actually taste it to judge how successful it was. Based on looks alone, I would have handed the victory to Jamie, but if I had been able to taste Mike's, I might have reached the same conclusion as Ben. Baz gets full points for creativity, but he might have pushed the boat out too far. It might have been delicious in person, but its identity was lost.
