These dill quick pickles are super easy to make! #shorts

The other day, I made bread and butter quick pickles and so many wanted the recipe for dill quick pickles as well! Here it is:

- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- onion
- cucumbers
- 1 tbsp dill seed in each jar

(makes 2 pint jars)

I just saw a couple here on YouTube (Stivers Homestead) and they had a bread and butter recipe plus a dill recipe. She said she slices the pickles first and adds salt to get them to release the liquids, then rinses and adds the brine so they’ll be crispier…I had no clue all the ways were so simple. I will definitely try your way first!

I make these often. Sometimes I add a little sugar, sometimes I add a lot of sugar for sweet pickles. Add garlic cloves. Add whatever veggies you like. I make and LOVE this quick recipe for pickled Green Beans. Mmmmm
