Something in between a vlog and a short film, I wanted to make something that captured a trip I took to visit my girlfriend's homeland. Taiwan was a foreign country on the other side of the world, yet I found pieces of home there. This is a longer one, but I hope you enjoy the journey with me.

Stay in touch :)

Not to be dramatic but this is the most beautiful display of love I’ve ever seen😭

home is not always where we reside
it's where we belong and where living feels right
some find home in a place while some find it in people.
i've been longing for home for quite some time now, i've never felt home, and i know this because i remember the slow feeling of morning at grandma's house when i was 5 and that is when i was closest to home.
i have't met enough places and people to find it yet.
or maybe just maybe all this fuss only to realise i'm my own home?
i guess that's why my fav part of the vid is ""Home can be a place you've never been until suddenly, it is"

Wow, what a video. I randomly found your comment on Justin Shen's video and your profile picture reminded me of a creator I used to watch a long time ago. Even though you weren’t that person, I clicked on this video just to see what kind of content you make. I had no expectations going in, but watching this turned out to be such an experience. I felt like I was right there with you all — meeting family, having dinner. It reminded me of my own family, my childhood… and somehow those 34 minutes felt both endless and far too short. I feel like I created memories just by watching. It's been a long time since I’ve been so immersed in a video like this. I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but please keep doing what you’re doing.

I love this video so much ❤️Everything feels so genuine, natural, and warm. The music choices are perfect too, seamlessly matching the emotions you want to convey. Sometimes it’s joyful, other times cozy and romantic. I especially adore seeing the two of you in love together. Truly beautiful!

I started watching football when I was 7 years old, I barely understood the commentry and the time difference between my home country and UK is 6hrs; it meant spending weekends late in the night enjoying football. Going through every emotions with my boy-hood team ChelseaFC; it's weird I've never been to London but still I call it my "boy-hood" club, but its been 18 years I still feel the same for my club. I currently live in NYC, and still cannot enjoy watching football, the time difference and mostly life gets in the way.
I still yearn to be with my fellow CFC supporters at Stanford Bridge, enjoy the electric atmosphere and look forward to one day celebrating the wins/losses.
Home is *CERTAINLY* a place you've never been!!!

Thanks for this beautiful video essay.

This is art Jeffrey... I've saved and shared with friends and definitely didn't start tearing up at the end. I was watching this while unpacking all of my stuff from Uni, and ended up pausing just to admire the amazing shots and grading. But beyond the technique, the emotion you've conveyed is incredible and... just thank you for sharing all of that.
Inspired me for my upcoming 8 month journey abroad
And gave me some hope for finding home after that :')
