the best sol. when you arrive to grub stage installation, don't select manualy, select sda option, and sure befor that remove with delete files the distro in vm

Thanks a lot, this works. This problem occurs when i had enabled docker to work on my windows. It led to a problem of oracle virtualbox giving this black screen error, but vmware was running fine.

To resolve mine, i went to machine tab, settings, display and changed the scale factor from 100 to 150% for all monitors.
