Our birth instructor told us that if I can still smile for the camera before walking out the door, we're not quite ready yet ;) it was a good indicator for my first birth. Due with number two in a month and a half!

My water broke at 8:30am and had my first contraction shortly after, we left for the hospital right away, I couldn’t walk or talk by the time I got to the hospital that was only 10 minutes away. They didn’t believe that my water had broke, they didn’t believe how much pain I was in and they didn’t want to check me because my contractions only started 20 minutes ago and it was my first baby. When they finally decided to check my cervix because I was screaming in pain I was 8cm dilated. My baby was born at 11:30 so I was only in labour for a total of 3 hours. It was really intense and scary.

I watched this after my first labor, and it is SO spot on. That 'moment of truth' point of active labor is REAL! Be prepared to face that moment. Thanks for all your content and support, Bridget.

I’m 20 weeks + 2 days with my first baby. I’ve been SO terrified because I have such a low pain tolerance & have never wanted kids for that reason. Your videos have helped easy some of that fear & I appreciate it so SOO much 💚

lol! With my 4th I woke up in transition, but didn’t really know. Cause I was still having conversations with my husband. He was the one who jumped out of bed after only counting 2 contractions. I said “let me just go to the bathroom real quick while you call” that was the end. I had the baby in the bathroom after being awake for 20 mins or so.

I’m trying not to do that again with baby number 5 and trying to gage when best time to head to hospital would be for me. Haha

I’ve watched this video series about 6 times since my first pregnancy back in 2017 unfortunately wasn’t able to meet my sweet baby 👼🏽. I’m pregnant again with a precious boy due January 14th So I’m of course rewatching these again and I’m hoping I’m able to do this all naturally no medication but unfortunately I have chronic hypertension very high risk for preeclampsia and gestational diabetes so doctors are thinking I may not be able to birth him how I want. Still keeping hopeful. Love your videos ❤️

hey bridget !! God bless u for guiding sooo well.
i just had my first baby, a boy on 22nd feb. the only thing which kept me calm composed and have control over my nerves in entire labour was ur breathing excercise tips.
i had pains for 2 days whch were 30 mins apart....but as per your formula....411, on the third day i started experiencing thoes from evening and went to hospital....there the doc induced active labor state through meds and my active labor lasted for 1 hour only and i delivered very easily.
the destresser breaths very extremly helpful in coping up the waves of pain.
hypnobreathing is the best technique every mom should master !!!!

though i started perineal massage & excercises also but could not perform properly as both hands could not reach down there to which i got epistomy & have stiches i am taking good care in th form of sitz bath & keeping them thoroughly cleaned & applying local oitment antibiotics.
once again am very thankful to you for excellent breathing advices. they were they best.
