I’m a believer that you should respect your surroundings that also applies to noise pollution. Respect others that are staying to camp in the same area as you.

The other vans were Italian, they were probably upset that you made pasta like an English person 😂 Great vid, amusing as ever.

It’s people like them that end up spoiling it for people like you and I. This is how how these good park ups get spoilt. It’s not just you that has breakdowns, our T5 is poorly at the moment and we can’t seem to get it fixed at the mo which is annoying, can’t get out!!! Great video as always, looking forward to seeing a new van build on the way! Keep the videos coming!

Welcome back Shaun. Had to laugh at your comments about the neighbours being more considerate with noise levels. You're doing a stealth camp and they probably didn't know u were there lol

Italian campers are notoriously noisy Shaun, you did well ignoring them. Good video as always.

Upgrading to a newer, bigger van is a very sensible idea. People will say you can also get problems with new vans. It's less likely than owning and running an older van. I've owned and run both and for peace of mind its a newer/new van every time. When you're out and about trying to enjoy yourself and have a relaxing time, in the little spare time you have, the last thing you want is spending that time worrying and subsequently getting recovered by the AA!

We always want some thing bigger, better and more expensive. We forget to be grateful, accepting and enjoy what we have. Babies and camping LOL

Yes I is Italian, perhaps they smelt your awesome pasta and wanted to have some of the action 😁
Just remember, bigger van = more fuel ...but I see your point! Good luck 🤞

Hi Shaun. If you are having injections issues, I do strongly advise having all 4 done at the same time. I made the mistake of only having the one done (that had given up) just to back in the garage having another one done two weeks later, and then to top it off, yes two weeks later having the other two done. Cost about £1000 more this way.
And another piece of advice, have the glow plugs done at the same time, way more cost effective.
Btw great video 👍

Handy tip about the keys. I do paddleboarding so don't want run to run risk of getting them wet/ or taking a bulky bunch of keys with me

A mate has an ex-AAH Pharmaceuticals van, a Jumbo Transit. It's used as a day van/Rally support/tow vehicle. Storage for tools & spares at the back and then double bench seat which folds into a double bed and a kitchen unit/fridge/sink further forward. The van has a few miles on it, but never had to carry much weight.

I would steer clear of Ford Transits though due to their propensity to dissolve.

If ever anyone try’s to get in your van most people react by freezing in fear and staying quiet, I’ve lived on the road a long time the best thing to do is get up make noise most people are trying to steal so once they know your inside they run off.
I’ve become immune to this scenario and I open the door and ask them politely to do one. I’ve had some funny ones but way to long to tell on this.
Great channel. Look at Citroen relays great. And cheap for parts and great to convert.

Fit the diesel heater in the van. They are only £120 ish so no issue to get another to fit in new van. You’ll missing out on all that lovely warmth.

First time watching your video and I enjoyed it. My first thought that came to mind about your van was that it may be the catalytic converter. I had similar issues and recently replaced mine. Safe travels and thanks for sharing for those of us who can't at the moment. It's a beautiful life. God bless!
