Just discovered your channel and am loving all the tutorials. I loved coloring as a child and then I "grew up" and put it away. Now I am 'of a certain age' and discovering this childhood joy again. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

I used to use the T'Gaal as well, until you recommended the Dahle 133. I've been using the Dahle for around 2 weeks now and I haven't had one breakage. 100% recommend it!

Great Tips Pamela! Well done no pressure & keep loving what you are doing, for me at least. Sometimes, I try to be a perfectionist but that should never be the case with something I enjoy so much💖😊

I bought a staedler noris sharpener and it works with every pencil set I have and I have alot. Buying the most expensive item doesn't mean it's going to be great!! Oh and I bought a normal metal one hole sharpener and that is awesome for prismas as well!!

I use T'Gaal for all of my pencils. However, Prismacolor pencils especially are not meant to have a LONG sharp point. Due to the soft cores, a shorter point is needed. So I use setting number 1 on the T'Gaal. I have never had a single Prisma pencil, or any other break in the T'Gaal on setting 1. I get a good, SHORT, sharp point. I also do not see my pencils disappearing into the trash can, via shavings :)

Based on the point that Prismacolors arrive in, which is short and sharp... even Prismacolor company knows this is the best length point for their pencils.

0% breaking prismacolors and using the t'gaal, i'm even both turning the sharpener and the pencil. It is the pencil, because the core is broken, but that's easy to fix.

A youtuber by the name of Passionista Colorista pronounces Maria's name as Trolle with the accent on the "e". I take her pronunciation because she too is Swedish. I was happy to find that out because I really didn't know how to pronounce it. YAY!

Ah yes, that infamous question of paper! Just a FYI: the “weight” of the paper has zero to do with the amount of tooth of the paper, at least as far as I am concerned! For example: I have used three separate/different card stocks, all with the same weight of 65#. ALL three of them, has a different tooth to it...one has a heavier tooth, one has what I would call medium tooth and one is very smooth/slick and isn’t so easy to layer on. And my 110# is smoother than the medium 65# card stock!

It would be lovely to be able to get more than one copy of the books. Here is Australia that is an expensive option. Love your videos but you do have a lot of followers not in the USA that this would apply to.

Do you have any tips for someone who isn’t necessarily a beginner but still wants to learn more and improve?

How do you tell which books are Amazon coloring books and printed on Amazon paper? I'm very new to this and have ordered all my books thru Amazon. I understand there are different grades of paper and tooth.
