4 eggs, yolks separated
1/3 cup maple sugar or coconut sugar
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream works
Fresh grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Separate the egg yolks into a medium size bowl, add the coconut sugar, and beat on high with a hand mixer for 1 minute, or until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, 1/4 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg, vanilla, and stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks. Add the egg whites to the nog mixture, and gently mix with hand mixer. You don't have to worry about deflating the egg whites.

Store in fridge for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight and enjoy. Will keep for 3 days.

Bobby is the type of guy that will tell you how much sugar is in a coffee for you not to buy it but will add an insane amount of sugar for you to make your own “whatever”😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

In Mexico we like to add a little bit of acohol into the eggnog... It tastes pretty good...

A wonderful tasty recipe!

We've made it several times and I've even let my kiddos have some. Eggs are sage if they are handled with care and if good quality!

Most store bought Egg Nog skip the raw eggs ! (I can see why, not safe) They replace it with corn syrup . No eggs at all in most EGG nog. It's really Corn Syrup Nog. also Adding achohol and letting it sit over night or longer, was too kill off the bad germs.

You can also reheat the combined eggnog and egg white mixture over a double boiler until it reaches 160°F, then remove from heat and let cool, then chill.
