"This has ruined all other eggnog, " is an absolute truth. I doubled this recipe last year, along with about half a pint of Bacardi rum. Without a doubt, it did ruin all other eggnog. Looking forward to making it again this year, and buying his new cookbook!

Eggnog recipe from the video
-Mix 5 egg yolks with sugar (e.g. one cup)
-Mix 2 cups milk and 1 cup heavy cream
-Add cinnamon powder and 4 cloves to the mixture and heat up (do not boil)
-temper the egg yolks with half the milk mixture, after that the other half
-put on gentle heat until thickened
-pass through a sieve
-beat egg whites with a pinch of sugar
-Fold milk and egg whites together
-Add nutmeg and vanilla
-put it 2-3 hours in the fridge

-serve with a pinch of nutmeg

Eggnog is my husbands absolute favorite thing in the world. I was tempted to try this last year but decided against it. Not this year! The husband is getting homemade eggnog on Christmas!!! Thank you Dylan. You are a treasure.
