As a pool service technician this is the only cement I use. Never had a failure and I dont have to wait to pressure test. Word to the wise, be sure you have your ducks in a row before applying and joining pieces. You have maybe three seconds to make adjustments before it sets!

Got a can of this instead of buying a can of primer and can of cement. This worked great for my water supply lines with CPVC. You don't need primer with this stuff. It cures in seconds so you'd better triple check your measurements before putting together. Once it's bonded there's nothing you can do if you made a mistake. It chemically melts both sides together to make 1 solid piece. Joints are holding up brand new after 2 years. Can see the joints lasting decades or more. Stuff is amazing.

I can only glue one end since my sprinkler intake is a foot under water at the shore. Will it work?

Is it real or false that this hot blue lava cement, if used in a dry environment, then fails or peels off in a few years?

Hardens too soon to push together. I can't get the connection all the way in. It gets really hard to do. Maybe the clear glue is better. I am not using it under water. Just 150 psi air in 1/2" pvc.

Do you need a cleaner or primer for pool applications?

The problem with this type of video is it does not show the use of primer which is required by both the IPC/IRC codes and the UPC.
