its good to have 2 CPU manufacturers instead of just 1. It makes them to keep prices lower and bring us better products.

The instability of Intel cpu recently is the cause of my decision diverting to AMD

People choosing Intel because of their "stability" but they never understand how good AMD has evolved and improved. Intel also killing their gen every 2 years while AMD extended their socket so ppl won't change every few years. It's just the fact AMD win all but shame they still believe Intel is better than AMD 🤣🤣Look how Intel did this year

No one should buy Intel rn, lets state facts here, Intel gen 13 and 14 has a degredation issue literally melting themselves. There is no choice right now either AMD or kick yourself in the nuts.

I used to favor Intel given their fame and brand recognition. However, over the years AMD has better performance in all cases against Intel. The PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 Pro all have one thing in common: their processors are all powered by AMD technology. The only console that I know that is powered by Intel processors is the original Xbox.

Ended up, you watch a video that told you something but concluded nothing. AMD for Gaming and Intel for Productivity. Lol.

Leaving out the massive stability issues with Intel's 13th and 14th gen processors is a crime, this is the first thing you should let people know about. Just don't buy them. Not only do they have stability problems, they degrade. There's also a manufacturing issue with the ones produced i 2022 were they suffer from corrosion.

Any mention of Intel melting themselves? I missed that bit.

IMHO AMD or uppercut at this point.
No offense, but just tell people the facts.

Guys, help me, I'm on the verge of upgrading my PC or rather build a new one. I am so confused. I am both a gamer and a graphic designer. I want a build that can handle both. regardless of the GPUs and RAMs. My only problem is choosing the right CPU. I want some opinions and recommendations from all of you.

i used to be a die hard intel fan, hated everything about AMD and lets be honest they have been the underdogs. for the past 25 ive had intel then they made the 14900k and other similar chipsets followed by even worse 15th gen chipsets and AMD entered the market as stable platforms even if a bit under powered at times. then the x3d models came out and i told myself i will never ever again buy a intel system.

Intel and AMD need to improve. Intel's prices are too high for their specs, while the Mac M4 offers great performance at a lower cost. A Mac mini M4 could be cheaper than building an AMD setup that matches its performance.

AMD is not the ideal choice for video editing or Adobe software applications. In comparison, Intel and Nvidia perform well in these tasks...

On my last system, I used an Intel i5 11th gen CPU. I historically favored Intel chips as I kind of grew up in the era when Intel was struggling to become a market leader. Names like Gordon Moore, Robert Noyce, and Andy Grove were in their prime when I was really getting into the industry. I suspect they would be rolling in their graves with the direction Intel has taken in the last couple of decades. Sadly, I think I'm going to have to move over to AMD when I get ready to get my next system. Intel has started pushing harder on marketing rather than engineering, while AMD has really moved ahead on innovation.

Everybody please help me to choice a good processor. I am new on building😢. I am thinking to go with this ( digital marketing, lite editing and want to learn more, trading, working on Airdrop and Minning)
Which will be best for me AMD or Intel. Suggest a processor 🙏

I was an AMD fanboy decades ago, but ever since I switch over to a 1st Gen I7 6 core Sandy bridge from an Amd Dual core I never look back to Amd ever again. Everything I build/bought since then has been only Intel and NVidia. Intel was less headache in term of crashing software's/programs. Amd line up currently is very interesting to me in specs, but I am afraid to return to failing and crashing cause of software operating on it. A lot has changed since then so I do wonder how well it performs in today standards. Only way to know is to use them and gain your own experience, but that can be very costly.

Nonsense, there is no case in which you should choose intel, they have instability that is still not corrected. And the performance in single core the difference is minimal. As for the energy consumption, Intel is pathetic, and for gaming and Performance i still would choose AMD.

you should have considered NPU as well

Intel all the way for most of us. Intel inside.

Funny I was using intel whole my life. I bought ryzen 3900x + x570 chipset motherboard just before covid. Since then I am still trying to figure out problems with shuttering, weird lags when there is no load on the system, doing thousands of stupid tricks in bios - turn off this, set that to this value, and still simple things like usb or nvme port do not simply work! It is outrageous how f.up amd stuff is. Never had such a silly problems with my intel PCs! Never ever thought you can have so many weird problems. My pc still is not butter smooth, but is somehow ok. But I have paid for quite high end setup and it is barely ok. Never, ever amd again!
