Informative but please speak slower when you call out the model numbers, I can hardly hear what you’re saying.

Appreciate the approach for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately I found a little challenging to follow you because of the speed in which you spoke. As such I had to find a different video to watch. Hope you slow down a little on future videos because you definitely appear to have much knowledge.

What are the windows issues you run into with the AMD chip?

FYI - AMD themself said that if you use PBO ; that invalidates your CPU's warranty. So consider that before using PBO.

I am using the 7800x3d now for over a year without any issues or "finicking". I use PBO -20mv 85 degrees celsius, 6000Mhz RAM 64 GB, air cooling in a fractal torrent case and it just works. High res gaming, video editing, compiling etc no issues whatsoever. CPU stays in cyberpunk on highest setting on a stable 55 degrees celsius at 100% utilisation all cores. The memory training is not an issue if you use context restore setting in your bios. With intel i7 I had a lot more issues and finicking tbh when over clocking. Another advantage with the AMD, and this a big one for me personally is the low power consumption and how silent I can run my system bc of lower temps.

Now, exactly, does the i9 processor of the 12th generation of the K series face these problems or not? Do you think that overclocking this CPU might endanger the CPU? This is the question of many users, please answer

If you have an i9-14990k CPU, go the BIOS and make sure the processor is not running out of spec, that's where all the issues are coming from. The two settings that need to be correct are max power at 253W and max core/cache current at 307A. That's it. Do it before your MB fried the chip, if you wait the degradation will be irreversable.

I just watch videos on all the troubles 13 and 14 gen Intel i9 CPU's are having, I even bought a PC that I'll be returning as soon as it's delivered. I was really looking forward to upgrading my ten year old system and now I feel I'm back to square one.

I went with an 7700x with some ddr5 6000mhz memory for this years upgrade - from an i7 10700k. I do like this setup more, it is alot snappier during productivity, a bit faster in gaming. Next upgrade will probably be intel though, I want to try out those juicy e cores! There are some really interesting choices on both sides which is great, can't wait to see the performance of intel's new chips and also AMD's 9000 x3d chip.

I want to run Llama models locally, looking for a laptop I was thinking of an Intel ultra 5 but I like ryzen but the new 300 series is going to be priced more than the intel 5 ultra

Intel fanboy hates making this video and showing disrespect to one of the cpu here. Seethe

I bought a new 14 gen i7 gaming desktop computer with 64 gb DDR 5 ram. All games would crash constantly. Completely unplayable. Read about the problems with Intel.

Spent another $2, 600 switching to AMD Ryzen 9 with 64 gb of 6, 000 MHZ ram. My RTX 4090 died so I replaced it with an ASUS overclocked RTX 4080. This is by far the smoothest computer I’ve ever owned. All games performed perfectly.

You are right. Intel sucks:)

The last time I had a good AMD chip was in the '90s. AMD has too many issues that people now consider normal because they can't figure out how to fix them and I don't have time to troubleshoot my computer everyday so until they release a real competitive chip it will always be Intel for me.

Intel and AMD need to improve. Intel's prices are too high for their specs, while the Mac M4 offers great performance at a lower cost. A Mac mini M4 could be cheaper than building an AMD setup that matches its performance...

AMD is not the ideal choice for video editing or Adobe software applications. In comparison, Intel and Nvidia perform well in these tasks.

i have not built a system in many years and did not game at all not since xp was an os so back then AMD was cheep so i always built intel/nvidia builds so i built an 14700k z790 7200 4080 and i have not 1 problem with it

I recommend the AMD 7800x3D as well and for low budget builds good of 5800 X3D. I would wait for intel's 15th gen CPU's hopefully that they won't have any problems.
