Why 3DS Consoles are SO EXPENSIVE!

i picked up my 3ds back when it was cheap & i still have it today. what is sad is that you can't find anyone with a streetpass anymore

Until the switch 2 releases the 3ds is still Nintendo's current gen console so not quite retro yet, because of the failure of the Wii U Nintendo felt the need to release another console mid generation so that they wouldn't go bankrupt. So the switch and 3ds are from the same generation.

Wii u sold like 13 million and it's alot cheaper and better imo

Because their handhelds, the supply of 3ds are also hurt by water damage from spilling drinks and blunt damage from dropping. So finding one in good condition is difficult.

I got lucky a couple years ago I bought a launch 3ds for 10 bucks

bought a snes design new 3ds xl after my old normal 3ds broke, 250€ for it with 4 games

I got a new 3ds xl galaxy for 80$ bucks
