Randomly got this reccomended to me, saw the "re-download software" option, and decided to see if I could re-download the ambassador certificate/games that I thought I lost forever ago when I lost my SD card..and it worked. I transferred my account to another 3ds and thought that cemented them being lost. Got them all back on my majoras mask new 3ds XL, I'm so happy right now. I didn't even know the ambassadors program was a thing. Then one day I checked my redownload software, and was greeted with 20 games I never bought.

So true story. Purchased a 2DS from a pawn shop and a Zelda themed 3DS from gamexchange. When I wiped the data from the consoles I saw that the 3DS had New Super Mario Bros 2 in redownload. I never purchased the game

My new orange 3ds XL has the ambassador programme on it as I transferred over from my original 3ds, loved playing Minish Cap.

I transferred my Ambassador Program certificate to my 2DS XL. That was after it was on my Ocarina of Time 3DS. Weird stuff like this is bound to show up so make sure to check ALL of the 3DS family systems.
