Another big mistake I see is players wasting elixir on using card/s on protecting a tower which is definitely go to get destroyed

A huge mistake noobs make is using buildings incorrectly or not using it at all. Buildings like cannon and graveyard or so useful and it makes defending so much better if you use it correctly. People who misplace buildings to an incorrect tile will get their towers destroyed or waste elixir. Buildings are your foundation for a deck so it's best to use it to its fullest potential.
