I like Judo's videos, especially this one because of the strategic thinking behind some of it. I have tried many attacks that he has suggested though, but I almost always end up losing (ending up with 2 stars) because of defending clan castle troops, and I hardly ever see those in the 3 star videos. It would be great to get some good advice there.

When the townhall is at the edge of the base, send a troop in to deactivate traps, or if you put your whole army there, the traps could take down your whole army.

The only time I use the same army is when I am farming. In CoC especially if you are TH12 or above, your TH is a weapon and has a bomb in it. It becomes harder and your troops can die easily so you may lose against a rushed TH12 above.
