The Explanation
In the verse, the napkin was wrapped about the Lord’s head. The so-called Shroud of Turin does not have a napkin with it. In the shroud, the image of the head is also seen where the image of the body is projected. But the Bible mentions that there was a napkin “about his head.” What was used to wrap the head was a different piece of cloth from what was used to wrap the body.

Proof Against this Theory/Myth:

1. Horus and Ishtar aren't even from the same religion, so why would someone be having a baby in one religion to then go to another religion to sacrifice it 9 months later???

2. Easter is more likely from the goddess Eostre or Ostara, West Germanic spring goddess. So even if you had just gotten the names of Goddess confused you would still conflict with the first point of it not making sense to have children in a different religious practice, but also a location hundreds of miles away.

3. There is very little record of human sacrifice in Egypt, however there are some cases. They were most likely for special occasions like drought and crisis, and there is no evidence that they sacrificed children, usually sacrificing prisoners, criminals, and prisoners of war. And to add on to that, It does not specify that these sacrifices were made specifically to Horus. You are likely confusing Horus, an Egyptian Sun god, with Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec Sun God. Just because The Aztecs and Egyptians both built pyramids, doesn't mean they are the same. They aren't even on the same side of the world.
