Queen Elizabeth II passed away hours before Dr Jordan B Peterson would give a public lecture. At this event, he was asked, “how could the death of the Queen affect the boundaries between English communities around the world?” His answer was honest and thought-provoking. He explores the weight and grandeur of the monarchical system, the legacy of its longest-reigning Queen, and the great loss so many have to bear.

When she finished her question, he paused then repeated it. And I thought he was fishing for an answer. Instead, he took about three seconds to organize his thoughts into a lecture that made clear to me, why the monarchy exists at all, for the first time in my 52 years of life. All the while filling the English audience with both hope and pride. Jordan Peterson is one of the most intelligent and gifted speakers of our time.

I drove a 12 hour round trip to Manchester on Wednesday, to listen to Dr Peterson. It was a fantastic experience to hear the man who has categorically saved my life and improved my existence more than once. Thank you for the last 6 years of lessons. You are a wonderful human

I really appreciate the fact that Jordan Peterson thinks before he speaks, and is willing to stop, and address his own position.

This understanding of my country's influence and greatness has never been in question, having served in the Royal Marines for 3 decades under Queen Elizabeth II has on many occasions brought criticism by individuals that are so very ignorant to the principles of a collective national identity which this remarkable woman championed and which I swore to defend in her name. When asked to put my life on the line to defend the freedoms of Great Britain, it was easy and for 30 years it drove me and continues to this day. The idea of family unity and strength inspired me and changed something in my psyche, which manifested into fierce loyalty and how critical the need for individual sovereignty and strong believe in a very important constitution. And now I believe it is even more important to embrace this, the erosion has crept up and the insanity, contempt, victimhood and arrogance that has manifested in individuals is staggering.

One of the things Ive noticed about Jordan Peterson that I really love is that whenever hes speaking, be it an interview, lecture, or even just a casual Q&A, hes not preaching or teaching as much as he is simply thinking outloud. He sorts through his accumulated knowledge purposefully, carefully examining each point through the application of truth, logic, and reason. Those thoughts then become the teachings. They become the sermon. As Jordan Peterson speaks, you can visably see the gears turning in his head. I believe that the recognition of this process, whether conscious or unconscious, is one of the many reasons why, when Jordan Peterson speaks, people listen.

I had the honour of seeing this in person.

For those of you who don't know. This question was asked literally like an hour after the queen had passed.

Which just shows that this was not a pre scripted of mediated answer..

Truly an incredible guy

"You stumbled plenty but you still walked uphill. And that's more than most." Well, there's a quote. The world needs more wise men like this man to teach us.

Jordan Peterson is another thing we need to guard. What a treasure. Highly Intelligent, well researched, humble and perhaps most importantly a kind and sensitive soul. Thank you JP.

Dr. Peterson is so rare in this world in that he is perfectly willing to let you hear him think. To me, this is his greatest gift to society and individuals; not just what he says.

I’ve never had words so beautifully powerful being spoken about my country from an outsider bring me to tears before. Thank you for your show of love and respect Mr Peterson

I attended this lecture at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on the 8th Sept. Whilst in the que waiting to enter the venue, everyone's mobile phone started to ping with the news of the death of the queen, some people were very quiet and others wanted to chat freely about her. Once in the venue, Dr Peterson gave a very profound speech about our late queen. Thanks to Dr Peterson for his kind words and an unforgettable lecture.

"We stumble plenty... but we still walk uphill"
Such a simple set of words, not premeditated, just spoken up on the occasion, yet with so powerful and deep meaning.

And you can tell he spoke from the heart -- he actually meant each single word.
Dr. Peterson displayed moving eloquence.

I drove 300 miles to Manchester and saw this great man, it was a wonderful experience. We stood in the rain, we sat for two hours drenched in our chairs listening to every word.
Aged 53 it's really nice to have things articulated in such a way that everyone understands, definitely something I'm unable to do. Thank you Dr Peterson for sharing your knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you. I'm French and the passing of the Queen makes us reflect on the necessity to look down into the roots of our culture. You cannot know where you go if you don't know where you come from.

I am 4th generation American from England. Britain should be immensely proud of your place in history and vast contributions to science, representative government, literature, language, law, and human dignity. Jordan said you stumbled but kept walking uphill. I say you forged ahead bravely and are now somewhat stuck in the doldrums. But the winds will change and you must carry forward and regain your pride.

My son and I watched Dr Peterson the night before this in Manchester. His connection with our UK society and it's ways is remarkable. I have the utmost respect for him and his outlook.

What a gracious reply to a difficult question. He looked at the Monarchy broadly and was able to constructively criticize while seeing the benefit of a great leader.

I was at his talk on Wednesday (07/09/22) in Manchester with my partner. I was struck by how healthy Jordan looked. He spoke without much pause for a full 2hours. The guy has tremendous energy and it was a joy to witness him back to the JBP we remember before his illness.

It takes a Canadian psychologist/professor's very moving speech to make me proud of Britain. This man is a wealth of knowledge and an excellent speaker. God protect you Jordan
