It’s pretty cool how they made this new character immediately suspicious with the “you were sold out” part. In the original version, that line didn’t feel that heavy plot-wise since you didn’t really know any of your teammates yet.

Persona 5 Royal has so many changes that the only way for you to get every single thing is to literally play both versions. Graphics have changed, dungeons have changed, the loading screen now have more details on the trains and if you go to a place in a certain event no the city people will have their sprites using yukatas. The winning screen have changed and there's so much more. The P5R got that threatment of "less is more" in lots of animations too. AND, lots of the weird silly trophies that would make you replay the game ten times before getting everything was removed. Which is good.
The only weird choice was to remove the trophies for fighting the twins and lavenza.

I think I personally prefer the original's opening left you guessing a bit more. I mean its obvious who joins when they do but you don't get a front face view of everyone's costume and all. Granted this is technically an upgraded version but to each their own.

Does royal not have the cool transition screens from the original? Like at 5:10 there is a cool joke transition but i dont see it in royal? I hope thats not the case bc those transitions gave it personality.

So, Royal is Persona 5 but extended? Guess in a way the original should just be gone and Royal should take over. I guess it's a spoiler about Makoto? Kinda regret playing Strikers and now wanna play this one. Probably even weirder that we wouldn't be able to walk and fight. Persona 5 Royal Royal would be interesting lol.
Gotta say. Joker is so Mysterious. It's like he both has a Voice actor. But also doesn't.
