I just came back to do it all over again. But from my previous experience I lost 15lbs in a month 1/2 . I lost my way but I'm doing it again, but the key is STAY WITH IT, DON'T GIVE UP!!!!🙏👊

I'm so glad that you pointed out that timeframes and results vary depending on the person. It's so obvious, but so many people that I know have given up because their expectations were frustrated because they assumed they would have the exact same reaction to it as someone else. People are different, their progress is different too!

I worked my way up to 20 hrs fasting and within 7 days I can see results . It's true the first few days are hard but my trick is staying busy the more you sit around the more you are thinking about eating

I use the 16/8 method. It's worked great for me. It's the best thing I ever did. I'm 22 pounds down. It's been 3 months for me.

I don't think 16:8 ever helped me. Since transitioning to ADF 3 weeks ago I am making great progress.

I am fasting since 20 years, I still didn't lose my muscle tissues.

I've been doing OMAD for two weeks, (typically less than an hour window, ) cut out my energy drinks (I consume almost no sugar) and have been exercising a bit more (mostly walking though) and I haven't changed at all. I know for a fact that I'm taking in less calories since the one meal I eat is actually smaller than my lunch used to be, but I am also not snacking at all and only drinking water.

So it is my hope that I'm right on that borderline, and I'm going to see results soon, as it's been a touch demotivating.

I stayed within 2lbs of weight for 10 days then suddenly dropped 3lbs then stayed then lost. But lost inches constantly. Weird. Water hormones etc i guess

I do not like to eat that much. I have cut out most carbs also. I lost a lot of weight the last time I did it. Covid really messed me up. So I used a break up as a meal depressant . I eat three times a week one meal a day. Sunday I eat Monday I skip. Tuesday and weds I eat one meal a day. Thurs Friday and Saturday I fast that entire time. Do it weekly. Have lost 44 lbs in 37 days. Gone down shirt and pants sizes already. I. Am already looking different. I know it will not continue this extreme loss the whole time. But before one meal a day I lost 93 lbs in 3 months. .

I would like to say been fasting since the xmas of 2018 pretty much every day of course some ups and downs but i can safely say i have for the most part been regimental with the hours and the timing of my first meal which is between 1300 and 1400 ..i exercise by running in the hills with my dog in the mornings do some work have a coffee around 9am -10am do some exercsies not crazy stuff kettlebells etc... more work, shower and b/fast (3 eggs one small piece of steak and two tomatoes with a small slice of toast ..more work ..evening meal mayby an apple in between my only supplements are multi-vit, garlic tablets and i use collagen in my first coffee that pretty much is my day ..Any tips of refining of my day would be appreciated i enjoy the fasting its not a problem for me but i am now even a little worried of going back to a 3 meal day when i exercise i can do it quite easily fasted even extreme exercise but i know i can improve in this area and would be keen to hear how others approach exercise and fasting for longer durations ..

I feel switching up the IF protocol helps me a lot. Started 16/8, switching to 18/6-20/4 a few days after about 6 months. Been on this journey almost 5 years and change it up often even times I’m fasting. It’s easy for me to skip breakfast and fast til 1-2pm but seeing results more recently with eating earlier (11am) and stop eating earlier (4pm). This is harder for me as I cook for my husband who eats around 6:30pm. But seeing results from it. 🎉
